  1. How do I take care of stainless steel jewelry?

Most of our jewelry is made of stainless steel – one of the most durable metals, that resists corrosion and oxidation, as well as being hypoallergenic. Stainless steel does not fade. It is durable and is near scratch proof. However, over time it may lose its shine or collect some dirt residue. Good news is that restoring stainless steel jewelry is easy and it can be done right at home.

  • Soap and Water

The simplest way to clean your stainless steel jewelry is with a bit of soap and water when it's dull and dirty. This helps clean off any pollutants and grime on your jewelry. Remember to please use a mild liquid soup and warm water. 

Soak the stainless jewelry in a bowl containing a mixture of mild soap and warm water and let sit for a few minutes. Next, take a soft cloth and rub the jewelry. For hard to reach areas, like grooves or engravings, you can use a soft-bristled toothbrush that will ensure you reach those hard to get places. Once you've thoroughly cleaned off your jewelry, reassure you've dried your piece with another lint-free cloth to remove all possibilities of water spots.

  • Baking Soda

Believe it or not, baking soda is a great cleaner for stainless steel jewelry. Making a thick paste of baking soda mixed with water, use a toothbrush to slowly clean your jewelry. Once you've cleaned it thoroughly take a lint-cloth to dry your piece an ensure it's completely dry. (YouTube has many videos that show how to do this).

2. Can I shower with Air Dry Clay jewelry?

I finish each air dry clay piece with water resistant varnish, so it is safe to wear in humid environments or during rain, but it is not water proof, so I highly recommend removing your air dry clay piece before entering shower or sea/swimming pool!

If your air dry clay piece of jewelry got stained, you can gently clean it with soft slightly wet cloth or wet wipes. However, I would be careful of the cleaning chemical elements that the wet wipes contain – sometimes they are quite aggressive and may cause some discolouring.  After cleaning it, make sure to dry it well with a paper towel or napkin.

3. Can I wash hand drawn zipper pouches?

A great virtue of our hand drawn zipper pouches is that it is totally washable. I use high quality fabric paint or markers and an extra layer of water resistant varnish spray that protects the surface from discolouring.  If you would like to wash your zipper pouch, I highly recommend to do it by hand. Just use warm, not hot, water and some soap/liquid detergent and leave it to dry. You can also iron it, just place an extra sheet of fabric under your iron to protect the colour of the bag. You can also use hand-washing or 30° gentle washing program on your laundry machine. Do not tumble dry!

4. Can I return the jewelry if I don’t like it?

  • Returns are allowed within 14 days after the arrival date of your ordered items. Products may only be returned unworn, undamaged and in intact packaging.

  • If the goods have been used for purposes other than those necessary to ascertain the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods or there are signs of use or wear, Spicy Orange has the right to reduce the refundable fee according to the decrease in the value of the goods

  • The return cost is borne by the Customer!

  • Without a track & trace code, no investigation will be started into missing returns. Keep in mind that proof of shipment with track & trace code is a requirement to be eligible for a refund. 

 

5. What do I do if the jewelry arrived damaged?

  • In the event of a product defect, the Customer undertakes to notify Spicy Orange by submitting a claim by sending an email to spicyorange.project@gmail.com with Subject “Refund Claim”.

  • After submitting the complaint, Spicy Orange will respond to the Customer's complaint in writing within 7 days and offer its own solution:

    •  If the defect is of a technological nature, the Customer may request that the product be repaired or replaced.

    • In case of replacement of a defective product, Spicy Orange has the right to demand that the Customer return the defective product before issuing the replacement product.

    • Spicy Orange will bear the costs of repairing or replacing the product if the defect was due to the Spicy Orange’s fault. If the defect was caused by the Customer's misuse or accident, the Customer and Spicy Orange will agree on the costs related to the repair or replacement of the product before the direct work involved in repairing or replacing the product.

    • The Customer can only demand a refund if the repair or replacement of the product is not possible or fails.

  • If the goods reach you damaged, please notify us immediately by sending an email to spicyorange.project@gmail.com with Subject “Damaged Product” and we will agree on the return of the goods and compensation (whether you want a refund or a replacement).

  • Spicy Orange is not responsible for the mistakes of the postal service provider - delay of delivery, loss of parcel and other situations in which Spicy Orange is not involved. However, we assist the Customer in communicating with the postal service provider in order to find the parcel or speed up delivery.

 

​6. How long does it take for the package to arrive?

 

  • ZONE 1: Greece - estimated arrival time: 1-3 business days.

  • ZONE 2: REST OF THE WORLD - estimated arrival time: 10-15 business days.

  • Holiday season delivery times will be longer due to high demand so order in advance.

  • Keep in mind that these are ESTIMATED arrival times, given by the carrier. Holiday season, National Days off, pandemic or other unpredicted situations do occur and change package arrival times. However, we always try to send the package ASAP and help to communicate with National Package carrier and resolve the case in best possible way!

 

7. Can you custom make a jewelry for me?

Of course! Just send me an email to spicyorange.project@gmail.com with a Subject “Custom Made” or a private message on Social Media platforms - Instagram or Facebook. You can find the contact info @Contact section.

  • You found a perfect earring design, but the hook part doesn’t work for your ears? Send me a message and I will change it to pins or hoops instead.

  • You love our beaded necklaces, but the colours don’t match the dress you just bought? Send me a request for a different colour combination and I will to create the best match.

  • OR you have a completely unique idea that you want me to try and implement? Send me an email or a private message on Social Media platforms & I will try to create a perfect jewelry or accessory for you!
