Product Care

In order to keep your jewelry long lasting and pretty, there are certain tips you could follow. For any material, that it is not gold or silver, it is highly recommended to avoid contact with perfumes, creams & lotions, sea and swimming pool water.

Most of our jewelry is made of stainless steel – one of the most durable metals, that resists corrosion and oxidation, as well as being hypoallergenic. Stainless steel does not fade. It is durable and is near scratch proof. However, over time it may lose its shine or collect some dirt residue. Good news is that restoring stainless steel jewelry is easy and it can be done right at home.

  • Soap and Water

The simplest way to clean your stainless steel jewelry is with a bit of soap and water when it's dull and dirty. This helps clean off any pollutants and grime on your jewelry. Remember to please use a mild liquid soup and warm water.

Soak the stainless jewelry in a bowl containing a mixture of mild soap and warm water and let sit for a few minutes. Next, take a soft cloth and rub the jewelry. For hard to reach areas, like grooves or engravings, you can use a soft-bristled toothbrush that will ensure you reach those hard to get places. Once you've thoroughly cleaned off your jewelry, reassure you've dried your piece with another lint-free cloth to remove all possibilities of water spots.

  • Baking Soda

Believe it or not, baking soda is a great cleaner for stainless steel jewelry. Making a thick paste of baking soda mixed with water, use a toothbrush to slowly clean your jewelry. Once you've cleaned it thoroughly take a lint-cloth to dry your piece an ensure it's completely dry. (YouTube has many videos that show how to do this).

Air Dry Clay (ADC) Jewelry

Air Dry Clay is a unique, organic material that is surprisingly lightweight, yet quite durable. It will not brake if it falls down, however it is not polymer clay that has elasticity and you can bend it. One of my favourite features of ADC is its matte finish.

I finish each air dry clay piece with water resistant varnish, so it is safe to wear in humid environments or during rain, but it is not water proof, so I highly recommend removing your air dry clay piece before entering shower or sea/swimming pool!

If your air dry clay piece of jewelry got stained, you can gently clean it with soft slightly wet cloth or wet wipes. However, I would be careful of the cleaning chemical elements that the wet wipes contain – sometimes they are quite aggressive and may cause some discoloring.  After cleaning it, make sure to dry it well with a paper towel or napkin.

Natural stone & glass bead jewelry

Natural stone or glass beads are quite durable and easy to clean. The easiest way is to use a wet wipe, however, make sure it does not contain aggressive cleaning chemical elements. Regular baby wipes will do! You could also use warm soapy water and a soft cloth. Just make sure to dry it well afterwards.

 Hand drawn zipper pouches

A great virtue of our hand drawn zipper pouches is that it is totally washable. I use high quality fabric paint or markers and an extra layer of water resistant varnish spray that protects the surface from discoloring.  If you would like to wash your zipper pouch, I highly recommend to do it by hand. Just use warm, not hot, water and some soap/liquid detergent and leave it to dry. You can also iron it, just place an extra sheet of fabric under your iron to protect the colour of the bag. You can also use hand-washing or 30° gentle washing program on your laundry machine. Do not tumble dry!

Jewelry size guides

Necklace length guide

By checking out this chart, you can see what necklace length you prefer. 35 cm necklaces are considered to be chokers, 40-45 cm necklaces are standard or most commonly worn length and will suit most situations. If you're looking for a necklace or pendant to wear day to day, then this is likely to be your go-to length.

This length will generally sit above the neckline for lower cut clothing or over the top of crew necked and other high necked outfits. If you're wearing a pendant at this length it will sit in a pleasing V shape which will frame your face.

If you prefer a necklace at custom made length, make a note at a check-out section or send me an email before making an order.

Bracelet size guide

There are 2 ways to measure the best bracelet size for you:

  1. Measure an existing bracelet that fits you well.

  2. Measure the circumference of your wrist. Then considering how tight you would like to wear it, add couple of cm to your wrist measure. If you like to wear it tight, add 1-1.5 cm to your wrist circumference. Add 2 cm for a loose fit at 3 cm for a spacious fit.

For example, if your wrist circumference is 16 cm and you would like a tight fit, choose size L.

Also, keep in mind that each bracelet comes with 3 cm extension, that gives you extra space to find a perfect fit. If you are not sure what size to choose, send me an email or leave a note at check-out section.

Earring length guide

If you have your favorite earrings, that has a perfect length, just measure it with measuring tape and you can use it as a reference point. Otherwise, use the graph to visualize how each earring length falls down the neck.

The earrings that have a pin to pierce your ear are called stud earrings and they are a perfect choice for you if you don’t like longer dangling earrings.

The earrings that have hoops or hooks as a piercing “tool” are called dangle or chandelier earrings. Usually, it is a longer and chunkier piece of jewelry. It is perfect if you want earrings to be a statement piece or an accent of your outfit!
